The Germany Vietnam Catalysis Centre (GeViCat Center) is a Scientific and Technological Organization dedicated to research and development in the field of catalysis. It is located on the 11th floor of D8 building, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. GeViCat Center is established as a continuation and development step following the success of Phase 1 of the RoHan Catalysis SDG Graduate School which was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The Center is expected to become a bridge for scientific and technological exchange, as well as cultural interaction, between Vietnam and regional/global partners.
The Center aims to achieve the following core objectives:
Advance Research Excellence:
- Publicize research results in domestic and international journals.
Foster Collaboration and Resources:
- Form an open laboratory system to serve the research community in catalysis, chemistry, energy, biology, and materials science nationwide and regionally.
Develop Human Capital:
- Attract, develop, and contribute to the training of high-level human resources in the catalysis sector to serve the country's socio-economic development.
Provide high-level (Master's and Ph.D.) and high-quality specialized training (Talented Engineer, High-Quality Engineer).
